Our Technology
Hydrogy SA will be a major actor in the field of « RES to H2 » by using the pressurised alkaline electrolysers for their best technical and economical characteristics proven by decades of field experience, such as:
- Safe, efficient and cost saving operation.
- Adapted to fast and big load changes as well as frequent start up and shut down.
- High reactivity (short response times after input changes)
- Minimum Energy consumption.
- Minimum maintenance and remote control operations.
- Long life cycles and low LCC’s.
- High gas purities.


Hydrogy focuses its activities on two main fields:
- Energy storage : excess renewable energy is transformed into hydrogen and stored.
- The hydrogen can later be used for multiple purposes (fuel cell, process gas etc) in fields such as:
- mobility
- grid regulation
- domestic
- And others
- Decarbonation : oxygen instead of air is supplied to a combustion system for an efficient capture of the CO2 in flue gas that « only » contains H2O and CO2.
- The captured CO2 is then methanised by reacting with the hydrogen to produce synthetic natural gas (SNR)
